Families of British soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan because of faulty or missing equipment could sue the Government for breaching their human rights following a landmark High Court ruling.

I wonder who the largely innocent victims of the military's escapades in Iraq appeal to?

Their government? They don't have one.

I tire of hearing about soldier's deaths in Iraq. You sign up for an illegal war...you face the consequences. If that means your helmet has a hole in it, too bad.

Perhaps if the members of the armed forces whose integrity is so absent that they are prepared to wage illegal wars on behalf of lying & corrupt politicians without a second thought, had even a trace of intelligence, compassion or individuality, they'd consider the lives of innocent Iraqi's more important than their "orders".
